I began drawing for fun during the summer after 8th grade when I was 13. I enjoyed drawing animals and anything simple enough for me to recognizably draw. I have always been a lover of color. Most of my work is either full of or has a splash of color. During freshmen year of high school I continued to draw, and using some of the techniques I had picked up on my own, I produced some more detailed and interesting pieces. I began to really enjoy drawing, so I decided to take an art class. Sophomore year I was in Mr.G's introduction to art class. It was a blast testing my creativity and trying all kinds of new mediums. That class helped me developed an appreciation of art that I hold dearly to this day. I see art as a highly subjective way of expressing ones perceptions of the world.
